Project details
The International Portal Art Flow is a personal UX/UI project created during an innovation module at HSLU, inspired by my passion for Fine Arts. It aims to connect artists, museums, students, and art enthusiasts worldwide, providing easy access to exhibitions, artist profiles, and art events.
My roles and responsibilities:
-
Independently designed and developed the entire platform.
-
Conducted all user research, wireframing, prototyping, and testing.
-
Applied 7 years of event management experience to ensure the platform supports artists’ logistical and promotional needs.
-
Currently pursuing Fine Arts at HSLU, integrating my artistic background with UX/UI design to create meaningful digital experiences.
-
Committed to ongoing development of the platform to serve the global art community.
The key problem
Problem statement:
The platform addresses the challenge of discovering and tracking global art exhibitions, artists, and events, fostering a supportive community for artists and students.
Why did I choose to address this problem?
During my research, I spoke with alumni, fellow students, and artists who shared their struggles navigating the art world. Many highlighted how challenging it is to network and find opportunities, especially as young artists just starting their careers. The common path often leads to becoming an art teacher because other development tools and networking opportunities are limited or inaccessible. This feedback motivated me to create the Portal Art Flow as a platform that empowers emerging artists by providing visibility, networking, and growth opportunities within the global art community.

Key user flows
-
Home Page: Serves as the central hub with sections like a hero header, features, event lists, testimonials, and calls to action.
-
Exhibitions: Branches from the home page, featuring exhibition details, blogs, and event schedules.
-
Artists: Contains artist profiles, team sections, and explanations of how the platform works.
-
Contact Us: Includes contact forms, FAQs, and location details.
-
Deeper Pages: Such as Exhibition Detail and Artist Profile pages, which display more specific content like project items, galleries, and documentation.

UX/UI Design
-
Developed detailed sitemaps and wireframes to ensure seamless navigation.
-
Created a clean, modern aesthetic inspired by contemporary art galleries.
-
Prioritized usability and visual appeal through user-centric design.
-
Supported diverse user needs with intuitive page structures and clear design elements. The Portal Art Flow features a visually engaging and user-centric design. The sitemap, wireframes, and prototypes ensure seamless navigation, while the clean, modern aesthetic reflects contemporary art galleries.
